The Hilton Tulum is an all-inclusive beach resort in the Chemuyil stretch north of Tulum, right off Highway 307. Arriving is uncomplicated once you are on the property side, with a highway turn, a gated drive and staff on hand. Getting there is the longer part. From Cancún International Airport it is 118 km and about 105 minutes on the coastal highway, which is a reason to have the car booked rather than sorted after you clear customs. A driver waits in arrivals with your name. The vehicle is yours alone, so there is no queue of drop-offs before yours. Two hours of airport waiting time are built in, useful when several big flights land together. Larger vehicles, including a Sprinter, cover bigger groups, and child seats are added on request.
