Getting to Wabi Hostel

Wabi Hostel is in the centro of Playa del Carmen, one block off 5th Avenue and a couple of streets back from the beach. Central is good once you are there and awkward on arrival, because that grid is where cabs get slow and expensive and where a driver who does not know the numbering circles for a while. A booked car goes to the door. From Cancún International Airport it is 55 minutes south, the fare is set when you book with tolls and taxes in it, and the vehicle carries only your party. Hostel guests often arrive as a group of friends, and splitting one private van seating up to 9 is a sensible way to do the trip. You are met in arrivals with a name sign.
