Getting to Alila Mayakoba

Alila Mayakoba is part of the Mayakoba development north of Playa del Carmen town, a stretch of beachfront, lagoons and mangrove. The resort opened in 2026 on the site of the former Andaz. Transfers from Cancún International Airport run 55 km and take around 55 minutes, and the entrance road adds a slow, winding final stretch through the mangrove before you reach the lobby. A private car handles that better than a shuttle, since the shuttle has already stopped elsewhere and everyone on board wants the same last few minutes to end. Your driver meets you in arrivals with your name on a board, tracks the inbound flight, and waits if the plane is late. Free cancellation stands until 48 hours before pickup.
