Getting to Aloft Playa del Carmen

Step out of customs at Cancún International Airport and a driver is already there with your name on a sign, ready for the run to Aloft. No queue for a taxi, no waiting for a van to fill. Aloft sits in downtown Playa del Carmen, close to Quinta Avenida and the main beach. The drive is 55 km and takes roughly 55 minutes, ending in town rather than at a gated resort entrance, which is exactly where a private car earns its keep: the driver takes you to the building, not to a drop point at the edge of the pedestrian zone. Flights are tracked, so a late landing moves your pickup without a phone call. The fare is settled in advance and includes tolls and taxes.
