Dreams Tulum is an all-inclusive resort on the beach north of Tulum town, reached from Highway 307 rather than the beach road. That keeps the arrival straightforward whenever you land: a gated entrance off the highway, a driveway, and a front desk that is staffed when you get there. The distance is the real consideration. Cancún International Airport to the resort is 118 km and about 105 minutes, a stretch worth doing in a private car rather than a shuttle that stops at other properties. Your driver meets you at arrivals holding your name. The booking includes two hours of airport waiting time. Vans seating up to nine and thirteen exist for families arriving together, and child seats are required for young children.
