Getting to The Royal Islander

The road from the airport to The Royal Islander is 18 km, most of it on Kukulcán Boulevard, and it usually takes about 25 minutes. You leave the terminal, cross onto the strip, and the lagoon opens up on the left while the resorts screen the Caribbean on the right. It is a short, easy run in a car that is carrying only you. The Royal Islander is an all-suite property in the Zona Hotelera, part of the Royal Resorts group. Airport Transfers Club handles the pickup with a name sign in arrivals, no shared shuttle and no taxi rank. Flight tracking is automatic, so late landings are already accounted for.
