Getting to Riu Cancun

The drive out of CUN covers 18 km of boulevard and ends at Riu Cancun, an all-inclusive beachfront resort at KM 8.5, in about 25 minutes. That stretch is mostly straight road between the Nichupté Lagoon and the sea. Book it in advance and the whole vehicle belongs to your party, with no seats sold to strangers and no circuit of other hotels first. A driver meets you in arrivals holding your name, and the fare was already settled online, tolls and taxes included. We monitor the flight, so late arrivals are covered rather than penalized. Two hours of waiting at the airport come standard. Groups traveling together can take a van for six, nine or thirteen passengers instead of splitting across separate taxis.
