Ocean Maya Royale is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the beach north of Playa del Carmen, set back from Highway 307. Adults-only arrivals tend to be couples with two suitcases and no appetite for a bus. The transfer suits that: one car, one address, and a driver waiting inside the terminal with your name rather than a company placard you have to hunt for. Airport Transfers Club drives the 55 km from Cancún International Airport in about 55 minutes, tolls and taxes already covered by the fare you paid at booking. Because the resort is off the highway rather than in town, the final approach is quick once you leave 307. Two hours of waiting at the airport are included if immigration runs long.
