Family Selection is the family wing of the Grand Palladium complex on Costa Mujeres beach, so most arrivals here need a bigger vehicle. Adults, children, strollers and a lot of luggage tend to land together. Vans carry six, nine or thirteen; a Sprinter handles twenty when two families travel as one. Child seats go on at booking and are required for the little ones. From Cancun International Airport the run is 35 km north, around 45 minutes, on a road that leaves the city behind fairly quickly.
