Getting to Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres

The road to Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres leaves the airport heading north, skirts Cancun, and passes the Isla Mujeres ferry docks. Figure 45 minutes for the 35 km. This is an adults-only all-inclusive on the Costa Mujeres beach, and like most properties out here it stands well apart from its neighbors. Walking anywhere or flagging a passing cab is not really an option, which is why a car that pulls up at your own entrance earns its keep. Two hours of airport waiting time are built into every booking, so a slow bag belt or a long immigration queue creates no problem at all. Friends traveling as a group can move up to a van rather than split across two cars. The whole vehicle is yours from the terminal door onward.
