Getting to Unguja Lodge
Unguja Lodge is at Kizimkazi on the southern tip of Zanzibar. The drive from Abeid Amani Karume International is about 45 km and roughly 60 minutes. Kizimkazi is a working fishing village with a long history: the mosque at Kizimkazi Dimbani carries an inscription dated to 1107 and is among the oldest in East Africa. For the arrival, your driver is inside ZNZ arrivals with a name sign, the flight number is monitored, and a late landing moves the pickup free of charge. Mineral water, cold drinks and face towels are provided. The vehicle carries your party alone. Cancellation is free within 24 hours of pickup.
