Getting to Shooting Star Lodge
Shooting Star Lodge is a smaller property at Kiwengwa on the east coast, with two pools and its own stretch of beach. Transfers from Abeid Amani Karume International run about 50 km and roughly 60 minutes. Smaller lodges rarely run an airport desk, so having the car arranged in advance is the difference between a smooth arrival and a wait. A driver meets you inside the terminal with a name sign, the flight number is tracked, and a delay is absorbed at no cost. Mineral water, cold drinks and face towels are provided.
