Getting to Konokono Beach Resort
Konokono Beach Resort is on the Michamvi and Pingwe stretch at the southern end of Zanzibar's east coast. The drive from the airport is about 45 km and roughly 60 minutes, crossing the island and then running the length of the southeast shore. Michamvi is a peninsula, so the road narrows as it goes and the last few kilometres are slow. A driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, we track your inbound flight, and a delayed landing shifts the pickup free of charge. Mineral water, cold drinks and face towels come with the transfer. Cars seat five, minivans twelve, coasters twenty five. Free cancellation applies within 24 hours of pickup.
