Getting to Emerson Spice
Emerson Spice opened in 2014 in the old quarter of Stone Town, a few minutes on foot from its sister house on Hurumzi. Like most addresses deep inside the historic centre, it is reached on foot for the final stretch because the surrounding lanes do not take vehicles. Plan for that with luggage. The transfer itself is the shortest we run in Zanzibar, roughly 15 minutes and 8 km from the airport terminal. A driver meets you inside arrivals under a name sign, the flight number is monitored, and a late arrival is covered without a surcharge. There is mineral water, there are cold drinks, and there are face towels in the car. One fixed price is paid before you travel, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours ahead.
