Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya is an adults-only all-inclusive on the beach at Akumal, 104 km from Cancún International Airport. Couples arriving on a long haul usually want the same thing after customs, which is to sit down and not think again until the resort gate. A private car does that. The drive takes about 85 minutes along the coast, and if the plane is late the driver simply waits, since arrivals are tracked.
