Punta Nizuc is the mangrove point at the very end of the hotel strip, where the boulevard stops and the reef begins offshore. NIZUC Resort & Spa occupies that enclave at Kukulcán KM 21, past the last of the shopping and the nightlife. It is not a corner where flagging down a random taxi is a good plan, so a car booked in advance to the door makes more sense. Your driver meets you in CUN arrivals with a name sign and drives your group alone, 18 km and about 25 minutes. The inbound flight is watched from the airline feed, so a late touchdown simply moves the meeting time. The price is fixed in advance with tolls and taxes inside it. The first two hours of waiting at the terminal cost nothing.
