Hyatt Vivid Grand Island opened in 2024 at Kukulcán KM 16.5, on the far southern part of the hotel strip. Water sits on both sides of the boulevard there, lagoon behind and open sea in front. Getting to it is a straight run down Kukulcán: one private vehicle, your group only, 18 km from the terminal door to the resort entrance in about 25 minutes. A driver holding your name meets you inside arrivals rather than texting from a parking lot. Two hours of waiting time are included, which matters when the immigration hall is stacked up.
